The Role

We are seeking a Junior Associate with a strong foundation in legal theory and a dedication to the craft of advocacy. You will work closely with partners on challenging cases, focusing on the technical and procedural aspects of defense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and reviewing complex procedural documents (writs, appeals, memorials, and technical defenses).
  • Conducting exhaustive jurisprudential and doctrinal research to construct robust legal arguments.
  • Monitoring procedural developments in Federal and State courts (TRF, STJ, STF).
  • Analyzing regulatory compliance issues and administrative risks.
  • Reviewing evidence and case files with high attention to detail.
The Candidate

The ideal candidate is an academically minded professional who values substance over status. We are looking for someone disciplined, analytical, and eager to solve intricate legal problems.

Requirements
  • Education: Law degree from a top-tier university (e.g., UERJ, PUC-Rio, FGV, UFRJ).
  • Bar Admission: Active OAB registration.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in criminal law or relevant internships in public defense or prosecution (MPF / DPU).
  • Languages: Advanced or Fluent English is required.
  • Skills: Superior legal writing and research abilities are essential.
