Selection procedure

The selection process includes four phases: Physical Test, Sports Test, Document Verification and Medical Test. This recruitment is being done under sports quota. Therefore, candidates must also be national/international/university level players.

Candidates playing 22 types of sports can apply to become constable under sports quota in Rajasthan Police. These include Athletics, Cross Country, Judo, Gymnastics, Wushu (Sanshou), Taekwondo, Karate, Fencing, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Boxing, Archery, Water Sports, Badminton, Cycling, Swimming, Horse Riding, Shooting, Basketball, Football, Kho-Kho and hockey.

The application process for Rajasthan Police Constable Recruitment started on 27 March. Last date of application is 16 April 2024. The application fee is Rs 600. The application fee for SC, ST, PWBD category candidates is Rs 400.

Eligibility (through sports quota)

To be recruited as a constable in Rajasthan Police through sports quota, one must have passed 12th. This qualification is for recruitment in District Police/Intelligence. For Telecommunication, one should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Computer Science. For constable recruitment, age should be 18 to 23 years. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in maximum age limit as per rules.

Physical criteria

Height - The height of male candidates of General and TSP category should be at least 168 cm and female candidates at least 152 cm. The height of male candidates of Baran district Sahariya tribe should be 160 cm and female candidates 145 cm.

Chest - Chest of male candidates of General and TSP category should be 81 cm without expansion and 86 cm after expansion, with at least 5 cm expansion. For Sahariya tribe of Baran district, chest should be 74 cm without expansion and 79 cm after expansion. Weight - Weight of female candidates of General and TSP category should be at least 47.5 kg and Sahariya tribe candidates at least 43 kg.
