Remote HR & Investigation ASSISTANT, HR & Investigation ANALYST and HR & Investigation SPECIALIST Positions. (Effective February 1, 2026)

This document describes three separate positions: HR & Investigation Assistant, HR & Investigation Analyst, and HR & Investigation Specialist. Individuals are hired into one position based on qualifications and experience. CLS offers a structured internal advancement path; however, progression is performance-based and not automatic.

Role Overview:

You will assist the Principal Workplace Investigator with:

  • Preparing witness interview questions.
  • Creating accurate and complete witness interview notes/summaries.
  • Drafting and copywriting comprehensive workplace investigation reports utilizing analytical skills and an advanced level of organization, precision, and attention to accuracy.
  • Communicating findings effectively.
  • Performing other workplace investigation-related tasks efficiently.
  • Supporting other HR-related projects, such as executive search/recruitment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Assistant, Analyst, and Specialist are three separate roles. Candidates are hired into one role based on qualifications, and promotion is performance-based and not automatic.

Human Resources & Investigation ASSISTANT position:
  • Advanced professional English speaking and writing skills are required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time professional work experience (in any field) is required. This experience must have been conducted primarily in English. Internship experience does not count.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a full-time job remotely with a defined schedule from a home office is required.
  • A Professional Bachelor’s Degree in any field is required.
Human Resources & Investigation ANALYST position:
  • Advanced professional English speaking and writing skills are required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time professional human resources related work experience in English OR a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in English (in any field) is required (Work experience in an internship does not count). A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a full-time job remotely with a defined schedule from a home office is required.
  • A Professional Bachelor’s Degree in any field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience drafting employee disciplinary documents or conducting serious employee complaint investigations is preferred.
Human Resources & Investigation SPECIALIST position:
  • Advanced professional English speaking and writing skills are required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time professional human resources related work experience conducted in English is required (Internship experience does not count). A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a full-time remote job with a defined schedule from a home office is required.
  • A professional bachelor’s degree in any field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience drafting employee disciplinary documents or conducting serious employee complaint investigations is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience supervising employees (not just leading) is required. Experience supervising three (3) or more employees for at least one (1) year is preferred.
Amazing Compensation, Benefits, Incentives, and Bonuses:
HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION ASSISTANT (Position Open Now):

The total monthly compensation range is $3,500 BRL to $5,000 BRL million COP. The total compensation amount already includes benefits, which are valued as follows:

  • Gym membership support: $105 BRL
  • Private health insurance support: $265 BRL
  • Home office and phone/high-speed internet service support: $160 BRL

Starting monthly base compensation ranges between $3,500 BRL to $4,200 BRL, depending on the level and quality of your work experience relevant to the work CLS performs AND possession of both required and preferred qualifications. You may also qualify for bonuses. Please see below…

Every six months, you will receive a performance review and compensation increase of up to $700 BRL, depending on your performance, until it reaches the maximum compensation range for the position. Work as a CLS HR & Investigation Assistant for a minimum of 6 months with consistently competent performance and become eligible for promotion to the HR & Investigation Analyst position.

HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION ANALYST (Position Open Now):

The total monthly compensation range is $5,000 BRL to $7,700 BRL. The total compensation amount already includes benefits, which are valued as follows:

  • Gym membership support: $105 BRL
  • Private health insurance support: $265 BRL
  • Home office and phone/high-speed internet service support: $160 BRL

Starting monthly base compensation ranges between $5,000 BRL to $6,300 BRL, depending on the level and quality of your work experience relevant to the work CLS performs AND possession of both required and preferred qualifications. You may also qualify for bonuses. Please see below…

Every six months, you will receive a performance review and a compensation increase of up to $700 BRL, depending on your performance, until you reach the maximum compensation range for the position. Work as a CLS HR & Investigation Analyst for a minimum of 12 months with competent and consistent performance and become eligible for promotion to the Specialist position.

HUMAN RESOURCES & INVESTIGATION SPECIALIST (Position Open Now):

The total monthly compensation range is $7,700 BRL to $10,000 BRL. The total compensation amount already includes benefits, which are valued as follows:

  • Gym membership support: $105 BRL
  • Private health insurance support: $265 BRL
  • Home office and phone/high-speed internet service support: $160 BRL

The starting monthly compensation is $7,700 BRL to $9,000 BRL, depending on the level and quality of your work experience relevant to the work CLS performs, as well as your ability to meet both the required and preferred qualifications for the role. Every six months, you will receive a performance review and a compensation increase of up to $700 BRL, depending on your performance, until you reach the maximum compensation range for the position.

Additional Compensation & High-Performance Bonus Opportunities includes:
  • High-performance bonus: When you perform investigation work, every case that you complete from start to finish in accordance with CLS protocols and without major errors will earn you a bonus of $700 BRL. That is $700 BRL for the person assisting the Investigator AND another $700 BRL for the senior writer (the person co‑leading the project and performing the final review). Once you become “certified” to produce accurate and complete witness interview summaries (typically within your first 3 months at CLS), the bonus increases to $1,400 BRL per investigation.
Core Hours for Operations:

Core hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PST / 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PDT, California, USA time, with the potential to earn extra pay for extended hours or weekend contributions for high-impact projects.
