FIFA27 will be established as the Local FIFA Subsidiary in Brazil, to work together with FIFA HQ in Zurich and globally, to deliver the biggest women’s sporting event in the world, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ (“FWWC2027”).

THE POSITION
The Host Broadcast Production Manager will report jointly to the FIFA27 Head of Broadcast in Brazil and the Zurich-based Senior Host Broadcast Production Lead. The role is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of all broadcast-related infrastructure and overlay, ensuring successful delivery of the tournament.
This includes close collaboration with all FIFA27 functional areas, Host Country/City representatives, stadium authorities, and relevant stakeholders. Key milestones under the role’s scope include the Final Draw, two Play-off Tournaments, and the main tournament period (June–July 2027).
The position will require periods of extended travel and operational hours, attendance at site inspections. The selected candidate will also be expected to escalate risks, critical progress updates, and potential delays to FIFA HQ in Zurich.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring the compliance of the broadcast areas at the 8 stadiums within Brazil, in accordance with FIFA requirements.
- Liaising closely with Host Cities, Stadiums, and FIFA27 Local Entity counterparts on the on-going development of broadcast facilities including access and zoning through all phases of the project.
- On-going collaboration with the FIFA27 Local Entity Technical Services and Containment Managers, Overlay Teams, and Stadium Authorities in the planning and preparation for all host broadcast and unilateral broadcast-related overlay. As well as legacy infrastructure at the venues including camera platforms, broadcast cable pathways, Studios and presentation positions, Interview Areas, Broadcast commentary positions and all installations within the Broadcast Compound.
- Supervise, in coordination with the Host Broadcaster, all arrivals/departures of technical facilities at the Broadcast Compound.
- Ensuring the necessary overlay infrastructure is provided on schedule ahead of the arrival on-site of the host broadcaster.
- Work closely with the overall venue management teams for planning, development, and delivery.
- Leading weekly, fortnightly and monthly reporting documentation and meetings on the tournament planning progress, managing and resolving risks and issues for venues within the assigned country, and escalating any urgent issues to the Head of Broadcast and Project Lead in a timely manner.
- Working across multiple time zones, to ensure you are the main point of contact and support for the Project Lead and Host Broadcast Production department based in Zurich, as well as the FIFA27 Head of Broadcast based in Rio De Janeiro FIFA office, Work closely with the Media Partners and Relations department and Content Production Teams to ensure seamless host broadcast and unilateral broadcast planning and operations at the venues.
- Supervision, in close collaboration with the Host Broadcaster, all arrivals and departures to the Broadcast Compound of all technical facilities and other deliveries.
- Main point of contact for Project Lead and the Host Broadcaster, liaison and support for areas such as match day broadcast accreditation and access issues, radio frequencies, broadcast security, broadcast cleaning and schedule control, unilateral broadcasters’ filming requests, stadium visits, issue resolutions, etc.
- Pre-planning, onsite support and delivery for the Play off Final tournaments, draw event and any other such event including internal workshops, training sessions, etc.
YOUR PROFILE
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a comparable role within an international, fast-paced environment involving complex projects — ideally in the broadcasting of events and within the sports industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project), collaboration tools, and planning software such as Autodesk BIM360 (preferred).
- Proven knowledge of event planning and broadcast project management, with the ability to prioritise effectively and work independently.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering excellent client service, with clear examples of supporting the needs of multiple business units.
- Strong communication and high level of presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Evidence of adaptability, including experience acting as a facilitator and/or negotiator in complex or high-pressured situations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to high-quality service delivery.
- A collaborative team player who can perform under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Positive attitude, with patience and persistence when navigating challenges and resolving issues.
- Experience working within a multicultural and/or multinational organisation.
- Right to work in Brazil.
