About the Role
We’re seeking a versatile and proactive Global IT Manager to own and lead our technology infrastructure and ensure seamless IT operations across a fast-scaling international company.
This role blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership and vendor management, supporting a distributed workforce in 8+ countries and overseeing more than 150 assets worldwide.
Based in João Pessoa, you’ll serve as the primary IT leader in the company — providing local support at our office while also driving global IT initiatives. From network stability and SaaS management to cybersecurity and compliance, you’ll ensure that our technology empowers every team member to deliver at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Infrastructure & Hardware Management
- Own IT infrastructure across local and remote operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and networks.
- Manage IT inventory: hardware, software licenses, and global assets.
- Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and peripherals.
- Maintain AV equipment and facility automations.
- Lead IT projects for new offices and expansions.
- Access Control & Security Leadership
- Manage user access to systems, applications, and cloud platforms.
- Implement and maintain role-based access controls.
- Oversee onboarding/offboarding processes globally.
- Audit permissions, monitor logs, and ensure compliance.
- Drive cybersecurity best practices across the company.
- Software & Application Management
- Oversee SaaS subscriptions and global renewals.
- Coordinate updates, patches, and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot technical issues both on-site and remotely.
- Maintain documentation, standards, and knowledge bases.
- Research and evaluate global technology vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and manage renewals. Oversee vendor performance and relationships worldwide.
- Strategic IT Planning
- Develop IT budgets and procurement strategies.
- Forecast hardware/software needs aligned with business growth.
- Optimize inventory and reduce costs across countries.
- Drive global technology upgrades and infrastructure scaling.
- Align IT initiatives with company strategy and expansion plans.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in IT management or leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Networking expertise (TCP/IP, routers, switches, cable management).
- Experience with asset management and inventory systems.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, antivirus, and backup solutions.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in startups or fast-scaling global environments.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Vendor negotiation and contract management experience.
- Knowledge of access control and compliance standards.
