A leading automotive manufacturer in São Paulo, Brazil is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage procurement processes, support supplier development, and negotiate favorable commercial conditions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and advanced proficiency in English. This role is hybrid (4x1), allowing flexibility while ensuring efficient procurement compliance and performance monitoring. Opportunities for growth in the purchasing function are available.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement of materials and services.

Job Description

• Manage procurement of materials and services in line with company standards and timelines.
• Support in the development of the regional supplier base ensuring compliance with global purchasing guidelines.
• Assist in negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers aiming for competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) and support relationship management.
• Contribute to the implementation of purchasing strategies that enhance cost-efficiency and mitigate supply risks.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of purchasing data and KPIs to improve process performance.
• Participate in sourcing processes including RFQs, bid evaluations and supplier selection.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

Knowledge/Skills

• Engineering or commercial background (Administration Economics Engineering others)
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with suppliers.
• Proactivity and willingness to learn and grow within the purchasing function.

Software Knowledge

• MS Office (Excel Power Point Mandatory)
• Familiarity with procurement tools and SAP.

Experience

• Experience in purchasing or related supply chain functions.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or commercial background (Administration Economics Engineering others)
