A leading AI partnership firm is seeking a Valuation Expert to leverage and enhance personal Excel valuation models for a project aimed at improving financial modeling accuracy. This remote, project-based role requires 3+ years of experience in investment banking or similar fields, and the ability to communicate clearly in English. Contributors will share their existing models, subject to minimal refinements, and receive payment per approved model based on complexity.

We’re partnering with one of the world’s leading AI companies on a project that uses real-world, analyst-built financial models to improve the reasoning, accuracy, and safety of large language models.

We’re looking for senior finance professionals who already have Excel valuation models sitting in their archives; work built for past roles, deals, interviews, recruiting processes, or personal investing, and are open to putting that work to use again.

As a Valuation Expert, you’ll contribute commercial-grade, investment-style models that reflect how experienced analysts actually think about assumptions, drivers, and valuation logic for public companies.

This is a remote, project-based opportunity, paid per approved model, designed to fit alongside your current role. Global applicants welcome.

What you’ll do

• Share Excel valuation or transaction models you’ve already built and personally own
• Make light touch-ups if needed to ensure clarity, structure, and completeness
• Contribute commercial-grade, sell-side style models (e.g., DCF, comps, merger models, leverage/recap cases, scenario-driven valuations)
• Provide models that reflect real investment or advisory decision-making — not reporting, accounting, or internal planning workflows
• That’s it. We handle review, QA, and data sanitization.

You are a good fit if you

• Have 3+ years of experience in IB, PE/VC, equity research, corporate finance, or transaction advisory
• Have built full valuation or deal models for public companies in Excel
• Personally own the IP for the models you share
• Are fluent in Excel modeling and comfortable sharing past work
• Can communicate clearly in English and deliver polished, self-contained models
• Can contribute multiple models during the project window
