Overview
The Finance Director will oversee financial reporting, planning, and analytics across the organization. This role is central to ensuring robust financial governance, delivering strategic insights to support growth, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the CDFO, the Finance Director will serve as a key organizational leader, driving long-term sustainability and profitability.
Salary range: $164,624-214,011 plus bonus
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s financial reporting strategy to align with and advance organizational objectives
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment
- Deliver strategic financial analysis and actionable recommendations to the CFO and senior leadership team
- Work as a business partner, influencing business performance by leading decision-making process through insightful analysis, fact-based recommendations and proactively identifying opportunities and risks
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while enabling sustainable growth and investment opportunities
- Lead all financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP and other applicable standards
- Monitor and manage cash flow, addbacks, liquidity, and working capital requirements to support operational efficiency
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures governing financial reporting and planning
- Elevate financial reporting capabilities to deliver deeper insights and drive informed decision-making across the business
- Monitor and identify KPI’s as well variance analysis for the company and provide senior leadership with insights and perspectives on appropriate actions required to address variances
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, building capability and fostering a high-performance culture
- Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the finance function and across the business
- Act as a visible leader within the organization, contributing to long-term business sustainability and profitability
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 10+ years’ progressive finance experience, including 5+ years’ in senior leadership roles
- Expertise in strategic financial planning, analysis, reporting, and corporate finance, with strong knowledge of GAAP, tax, and regulatory compliance
- Proven success working with boards, auditors, and financial institutions
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, build high-performing teams, and drive accountability
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner across all levels of the organization
- Skilled at managing competing priorities, making sound decisions under pressure, and delivering accurate, high-quality results on time
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed (approximately once per month)
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours to meet critical deadlines or support global operations
Preferred Skills and Experience
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
