Business Intelligence Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, data interpretation, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in translating business needs into data‑driven solutions, supporting strategic initiatives, and enhancing decision‑making through actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for analytics solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear data requirements and work with data engineers and analysts to ensure delivery.
- Review dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Conduct deep‑dive analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Support data governance and ensure data quality and consistency across analytics products.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand business processes and identify areas for optimization.
- Create user stories, process flows, and functional specifications for analytics projects.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the success of analytics initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and clarity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within a data or analytics‑focused environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and data warehouses.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a must.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis or machine‑learning concepts.
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI‑PBA) or related credentials.
Business Intelligence Partner
This role partners with regional and global BI customers, providing business solutions through data. The position has operational and technical responsibility for reporting, analytics, and visualization dashboards across all operating companies within RSR. It focuses on consolidating, automating, and improving reporting and dashboards for external clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Stakeholders:
- RSR internal stakeholders: C‑Suite, Finance, Regional Managing Directors, Vice Presidents, and operational account leaders.
- RSR external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Development of BI solutions (50%) – Deliver BI solutions for the program, ensure contractual conditions around reporting and SLAs are met, validate solution requirements, implement tools and documentation, oversee design and build of scalable visualizations, maintain quality management program, schedule production standards, and ensure data accuracy.
- Consult (30%) – Serve as liaison between external clients, operations teams, and the broader BI team; provide insights and recommendations; analyze client data to identify opportunities; maintain commercial awareness; solicit feedback; contribute to global team success; qualify business needs; develop strong stakeholder relationships; act as a data visualization and BI subject‑matter expert.
- Maintain Standards (20%) – Work within agreed parameters, leverage agile practices, organize stakeholder feedback, promote resources and tools, and ensure data governance principles are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar BI role.
- Project management and/or process improvement experience.
- Proficient with ANSI‑compliant SQL.
- Proven experience with Tableau dashboard development.
- Ability to turn ambiguous information into substantive insights.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills for executive‑level clients.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (macros, pivot tables), Google products, and Tableau.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years in a similar role.
- Industry exposure to business process outsourcing or workforce planning (e.g., MSP/RPO).
- Experience with analytics tools, data pipeline creation, and quality improvement.
- Technical client service and consulting experience.
- Ability to write intermediate SQL scripts and interpret data for non‑technical audiences.
This position will require a live SQL assessment.
