A global technology company is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to oversee a team developing a versatile modular platform. This role involves planning feature roadmaps in collaboration with product teams, mentoring engineers, and driving continuous improvement within the engineering organization. Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience in software engineering, with strong leadership and communication skills, along with a background in blockchain technologies. The position is remote with the expectation to overlap some working hours with EST.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
• Proven experience in managing the complete engineering and delivery lifecycle of a product, with strong customer empathy and the ability to balance product direction with engineering best practices.
• Experience with the complexities of developing large, distributed systems, and operating production platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling close collaboration with both internal and external partners on a wide range of technical and business topics.
• Demonstrated servant leadership with a natural talent for inspiring and motivating others.
• Capability to work effectively in a globally-distributed team with a strong sense of ownership.
• Experience in coordinating technical stakeholders and making informed product decisions.
• Experience in the blockchain / DeFi / Web3 space.
• All roles with Chainlink Labs are global and remote-based.
