A modern technology company in Porto Alegre is looking for an experienced Engineer Lead to design and manage engineering teams responsible for their innovative platform. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of backend development experience, particularly with Golang, and a solid understanding of APIs and microservices. Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams, implementing performance improvements, and collaborating on cross-team solutions. Qualificações

• 4 years of backend development experience, ideally with Golang.

As an Engineer Lead at Rappi, you will be responsible for designing and leading the teams and systems that power our innovative platform. You will leverage your expertise in Golang, asynchronicity, Kafka, SQS, as well as monitoring tools like New Relic or Splunk to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for :

Experience leading multidisciplinary teams

Reliability and performance improvements discovery, prioritization and implementation

Review and refinement of technical aspects of business development proposals

Leading the team in implementing engineering best practices

Keeping the team members challenged and motivated

Guiding the team in backlog grooming

Preparing and performing sprint releases

Maintaining on-call support schedule

Team microservice's internal architectural decisions

Collaborating with other EL/EM on the design of solutions spanning multiple teams

Team metrics weekly reporting
