A leading commercial real estate firm in São Paulo is seeking a Facilities Director to manage space planning, occupancy data, and employee move coordination. The role requires strong leadership in facilities management, with at least 5-7 years of experience in a senior position. A Bachelor's degree is mandatory, and a Master's or relevant certifications are preferred. (Mandatory) Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree (MBA) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP) highly preferred.
Minimum of years of progressive experience in facilities management, workplace strategy, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership or directorial role focusing on space planning and occupancy.
Analyze current and future space requirements based on headcount forecasts, business growth, and organizational changes. Develop space plans that maximize efficiency while maintaining compliance with building codes and company standards. Assign and manage seating allocations for employees, teams, and departments.
Maintain accurate occupancy data in workplace management systems (e.g., CAFM / IWMS tools). Track and report on space utilization metrics, including density, vacancy, and forecasted needs. Ensure data integrity and timely updates for moves, adds, and changes (MAC).
Plan and coordinate employee moves, including scheduling, communication, and vendor management. Develop move plans and seating charts to minimize disruption to business operations.
Communicate occupancy plans and changes clearly to stakeholders.
Support long-term real estate strategies by providing occupancy scenarios and recommendations. Identify opportunities for space optimization, cost savings, and improved employee experience.
