About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Government Affairs Director with expertise in regulatory issues. This role is crucial for navigating the complex landscape of government regulations and ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies for government relations, focusing on regulatory compliance and advocacy related to CADE and other relevant authorities.

Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments that impact the organization, providing timely insights and recommendations.

Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and governmental bodies, fostering strong relationships and communication channels.

Advise senior management and internal teams on regulatory requirements, ensuring that business operations adhere to legal standards and best practices.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align regulatory strategies with business objectives, facilitating seamless integration of compliance into operational processes.

Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and negotiations with government officials and regulatory agencies.

Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to support regulatory initiatives and inform stakeholders of progress and outcomes.

Identify potential regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s interests.

Qualifications

Robust experience in regulatory affairs, competition law, or government relations, with a strong track record of working with CADE and federal agencies.

Expertise in antitrust law, regulatory compliance, and policy advocacy in tech, fintech, or related industries (experience in digital platforms is a plus).

Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and drive favorable outcomes in high‑pressure scenarios.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence C‑suite executives and government officials.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Public Policy, or related field.
