We're looking for a Data Analytics & Engineering Specialist in Brazil!! Location : Remote (Brazil)

About the Role

We are looking for a gritty problem solver and self-starter who will serve as a key interface between the Analytics and Engineering teams. In this role, you will deeply understand the needs of analytics stakeholders, anticipate future requirements, and partner closely with Data Engineers to identify, vet, and prioritize upstream data. Your mission is to enable strong analytical capabilities, drive operational excellence, and improve efficiency across data partnerships.

What You'll Do
  • Rationalize and prioritize data requests, designing ideal and scalable solutions.
  • Execute new data flows and maintain existing pipelines on a daily basis.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, efficient data pipelines that support multiple use cases with minimal incremental effort.
  • Drive the vision for Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing across all business lines, defining and executing a roadmap to achieve that vision.
  • Evolve analytical data ecosystems to support advanced analytics and big data use cases.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics and data engineering.
  • 1+ year of hands‑on experience with big data processing systems such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or similar technologies.
  • Expert‑level proficiency in SQL.
  • Proven ability to design and lead time‑sensitive, strategic projects involving methodology development, analysis, and presentation of insights and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related area).
  • Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Unix / Linux shell scripting and Python.
  • Strong database performance tuning and optimization skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field preferred.
