All about the role:

A Credit Manager protects a company’s assets and oversees the credit granting process. As main duties include assessing potential customers’ creditworthiness, conducting reviews of existing customers, support to optimize company sales, guarantee the policies and improve processes.

What you'll do:

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, effective communication, and negotiation skills. The professional will be responsible for analyzing and proposing different methodologies for credit scoring models, assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers, and reviewing the risk profiles of existing customers. Based on these evaluations, the position will establish credit limits and payment terms in accordance with the company’s guidelines and credit policy.

Key responsibilities include implementing best practices and procedures to ensure customer credit reliability and minimize financial risk, as well as maintaining direct communication with customers to address credit-related issues and resolve disputes. The role involves close collaboration with sales and commercial teams across Latin America, ensuring efficient and effective credit management.

We are looking for someone that stays current with industry trends and risk mitigation practices, managing and developing the credit department team in the region, and also designing and implementing credit policies and procedures. The ability to operate within both global and regional scopes is essential to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a similar field.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CFA, CPA, or similar) is preferred.
  • Experience in credit analysis, risk assessment is required.
  • Advanced English is mandatory, and Spanish is desirable.
  • Proven experience as a credit manager or in a similar role.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Travel availability.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Where you'll be:

You will be based at the Curitiba administrative office. Located in Prado Velho, it is a new Electrolux Group location designed from the start to allow for more efficient, connected and flexible collaboration between Electrolux Group’s support teams. It will be necessary to have availability for occasional domestic and international travel.
