A global automotive company based in São Paulo is looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement process, enhance supplier relationships, and implement cost-efficient strategies. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a relevant commercial background, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and proficiency in English, with Spanish as a plus. This role offers a hybrid work model and requires proactivity and willingness to grow within the purchasing function.

Job Description

• Manage procurement of materials and services in line with company standards and timelines.
• Support in the development of the regional supplier base, ensuring compliance with global purchasing guidelines.
• Assist in negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers, aiming for competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) and support relationship management.
• Contribute to the implementation of purchasing strategies that enhance cost‑efficiency and mitigate supply risks.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of purchasing data and KPIs to improve process performance.
• Participate in sourcing processes, including RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.

Knowledge/Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with suppliers.
• Proactivity and willingness to learn and grow within the purchasing function.

Software Knowledge

• MS Office (Excel + Power Point Mandatory)
• Familiarity with procurement tools and SAP.

Experience

• Experience in purchasing or related supply chain functions.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or commercial background (Administration, Economics, Engineering, others)

Languages

• Fluent English
• Spanish will be considered a plus
