VBET Brazil is seeking a strategic, business-oriented Chief Legal Officer to lead our legal function and support the company's growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise the CEO, Board, and executive team on corporate, commercial, and operational legal matters.
• Build, mentor, and scale an in-house legal team aligned with company growth and market expansion.
• Support business strategy by translating legal complexity into clear, business-oriented recommendations.
• Lead licensing and regulatory strategy for Brazil markets.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
• Oversee intellectual property protection, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks; manage disputes and litigation with external counsel.
• Build, mentor, and scale the in-house legal team; optimize legal operations and processes.
• Support corporate governance and entity structuring in Brazil and abroad.

Requirements

• Law degree with active legal license; 10+ years post‑qualification experience, including senior leadership.
• Experience in iGaming, fintech, or other highly regulated sectors.
