Qualifications for Success in the Bookkeeping Arena

• Fully Xero certified with relevant bookkeeping and accounting qualifications (3 - 5 years of work experience with CPA & CA qualifications)
• Strong Excel Skills (vlookups, pivot tables, automation of reporting using formulas, data manipulation) - opportunity for growth in this area.
• Demonstrated previous experience in a similar role (especially in Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Expense Reconciliation, Payroll)
• Self-motivated, committed, and reliable with excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships
• Broad knowledge of financial procedures and policies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Managerial skills
• Quick learner with problem-solving capabilities

Synchronize Success : Key Responsibilities in the Bookkeeper's Realm

• Enter all transactions into Xero
• Reconcile transactions with bank statements / Perform account reconciliation and data entry
• Handle expenses and bank reconciliations
• Record business expenses incurred on personal credit cards into Xero
• Manage reimbursement processes for business expenses
• Generate end-of-year financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet
• Manage accounts receivable and payable
• Handle payroll and superannuation tasks
• Prepare BAS / IAS reports and financial reporting
• Perform management reporting in Excel
