Position Overview
The Blog Manager will play a central role in shaping our content strategy and will be responsible for planning, producing, optimizing, and managing all blog content.
This position is critical in enhancing our brand visibility, increasing organic traffic, and strengthening our authority within the hosting and technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning: develop a comprehensive blog and content strategy aligned with UltaHost’s goals, generate consistent content ideas tailored to the web hosting industry, conduct market trend analysis, competitor research, and keyword volume evaluations to maintain an up-to-date content calendar, ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and consistent with the brand’s voice and messaging.
- Content Creation & Editorial Management: manage the editorial review process for content produced by writers, verify that content is not generated by AI and ensure originality, produce high‑quality blog posts, guides, and technical articles when needed, maintain a consistent brand tone, writing style, and professional content standards.
- SEO & Performance Optimization: conduct in-depth keyword research and optimize content according to SEO best practices, implement internal and external linking strategies, track blog performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush, optimize content based on data insights to increase engagement, organic visibility, and click‑through rates, ensure that keywords are not AI‑generated and maintain SEO accuracy.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: work closely with content writers, designers, and digital marketing teams to ensure cohesive content production, provide guidance, feedback, and workflow coordination to writers, collaborate with designers to deliver visually enriched blog content, align blog content with broader marketing campaigns and brand objectives.
- Knowledge Base Management: develop and maintain a comprehensive Knowledge Base with helpful guides and troubleshooting articles, collaborate with the technical support team to turn frequently asked questions into detailed Knowledge Base content, create step‑by‑step tutorials, problem‑solving guides, and educational materials.
- WordPress Management: develop and customize WordPress themes, build custom plugins or optimize existing ones, ensure SEO‑friendly configurations, website speed improvements, and overall technical optimization, manage the setup, configuration, and maintenance of WordPress sites.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in content management, SEO, digital marketing, or related fields.
- Experience producing content in the web hosting, technology, software, or digital services industries (preferred).
- Strong written communication skills and excellent editorial judgment.
- Hands‑on experience with WordPress and basic technical WordPress knowledge.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Google Analytics.
- Experience in managing content teams or collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of multilingual content management (preferred).
- Basic proficiency with visual content or design tools (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating content specifically for web hosting, cloud computing, DevOps, cybersecurity, or server management sectors.

- Experience working with technology‑focused brands, developer communities, or technical B2B audiences.
- Prior experience producing tutorials, documentation, or technical guides for WordPress, Linux servers, cPanel, Plesk, or cloud platforms.

- Understanding of affiliate marketing, hosting comparison sites, or SEO‑driven content funnels.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams such as engineers, DevOps, or product managers to translate complex topics into clear content.
- Background in digital marketing, growth marketing, or content‑led SEO strategies, especially in the technology sector.
- Experience producing or managing multilingual content.
