Job Title: Automation & Operations Specialist
Schedule

Full-time (40 hours/week); requires EST or PST working-hour overlap.

Location

Fully remote (LATAM-based candidates welcome).

About This Role:

Our client is a growing automation-focused company that builds custom operational workflows and systems. They work at the intersection of automation, no-code platforms, and AI-driven workflows to solve complex operational problems where no off-the-shelf solution exists.

We are looking for a hands-on Automation & Operations Manager to own the execution of day-to-day operational workflows. This is not a traditional project management role; it is an execution-focused position for a specialist who can build, maintain, and improve systems. You will work directly with the CEO to ensure system reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities:
  • Workflow Architecture: Build, maintain, and optimize automation workflows using Make.com and/or n8n, ensuring consistent execution across CRM processes and reporting.
  • System Integration: Design and implement custom solutions, managing API-based integrations and webhooks between various tools and platforms.
  • Troubleshooting & Reliability: Take ownership of existing automation libraries; diagnose failures, debug errors, and resolve issues efficiently to maintain high performance.
  • AI Implementation: Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, AI coding assistants) to accelerate workflow development and solve ambiguous technical problems.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Document workflows, maintain clear SOPs, and provide the CEO with regular updates on status, risks, and blockers.
Requirements:
  • 4–6 years of experience in automation, operations, or workflow-heavy roles.
  • Hands‑on experience building complex workflows with Make.com and/or n8n.
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.
  • Proficiency with database tools like Airtable.
  • Ability to work independently to solve ambiguous technical problems without immediate supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience integrating AI into automation workflows.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., GoHighLevel) and lightweight app builders (e.g., Replit).
