Overview

You are a puzzle-solver, a debugger, an innovator.

Associate Dev Lead will work closely with tech leads (and at times lead development projects), to execute pixel perfect front-end builds making key decisions on Javascript architecture, CSS strategy, HTML5 / CSS3 design, web fonts, social networking integration, html best practices and responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written skills.


• Interact and collaborate in both individual and group settings.


• Able to elevate technical and timing issues in a professional and clear manner.


• Explain sensitive and complicated issues such as graceful degradation/cross-browser compatibility to non-technical teams such as account and production.


• Project Management / Execution : Accurately predict development timelines, be able to stick to them and react quickly to change.


• Own a project by helping to identify missing pieces and solutions.


• Advertising Skills : Understand the pace of advertising.


• Things move quickly, ideas are fluid and need to be guided home in a calm, professional and optimistic manner.


• People / Teamwork / Corporate Citizenship : Must be a good communicator with people both above and below.


• Delegated Authority : Associate Dev Lead will have authority to delegate to team based on a given project's requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree.


• Computer Science Degree Preferred, or comparable experience.


• 4+ years experience, preferably at an advertising agency.


• Expert in OO JS, HTML, CSS3, mobile best practices, social media integration.


• Experience using GSAP / TweenMax, Three.js, D3.js, and other interactive / animation platforms.


• Experienced in using LESS / SASS, leveraging gulp / grunt / webpack for builds.


• Expertise in working with GIT, both on an individual level and with teams.


• Experience integrating with a CMS (WordPress, .NET).


• Working understanding of back-end programming.


• LAMP and Node.js are a plus.
