A leading healthcare company in São Paulo is looking for a tax specialist to review and elaborate indirect tax deliverables, ensure compliance, and develop tax strategies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Law/Business and 4-6 years of tax experience. Knowledge of SAP and strong skills in indirect taxes are desirable.

Qualificações

• Bachelor in Accounting/Law/Business.
• 4-6 years of tax experience either in-house or in public accounting firms.
• Strong knowledge in indirect taxes. Direct taxes experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Elaborate/review of indirect tax deliverables (computations and tax returns).
• Review the tax reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Liaise with external advisors (BPO and auditors).
• Interface with multiple areas to support new businesses and ensure tax compliance.
• Develop and implement tax strategies/policies to reduce exposures.
• Monitor/analyze tax legislation for indirect taxes.
• Participate in tax reform implementation.

Major Accountabilities

• Elaborate/review of indirect tax deliverables (computations and tax returns);
• Review the taxes reconciliation to ensure they are accurately prepared;
• Liaise with external advisors (BPO and auditors);
• Interface with multiple areas to support new businesses in addition to ensuring tax compliance;
• Develop and implement tax strategies/policies to reduce exposures;
• Monitor/analyze the tax legislation related to indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS/COFINS, withholding tax etc);
• Participate on the tax reform implementation;

Requirements

• Bachelor in Accounting/Law/Business;
• English is desirable;
• SAP knowledge is desirable;
• 4-6 years of tax experience either in-house or in public accounting firms;
• Strong knowledge in indirect taxes. Direct taxes experience is a plus.
