Area Sales Manager
What challenges can you expect?
- Realization of MR's sales strategy in the designated countries / regions.
- Development of long-term sales measures and conclusion of delivery agreements in close cooperation with the Regional Sales Director (responsibility for price up to reporting level) (exception : Global Account).
- Acquisition of new customers and generation of new business with existing customers.
- Conduct of regular customer visits in order to build strong customer relationships.
- Monitoring of complaint management in the designated countries / regions.
- Carrying out planning processes (incl. visit planning) in designated countries / regions (for Global Accounts with approval of the responsible GAM).
- Compilation, consolidation and pursuit of customer projects including entries in project database (CRM).
- Prompt forwarding to the marketing department of information regarding competitor products, market activities and prices.
- Advising customers, where necessary by including experts (OPP, OPS, Messko, A&C, EVA).
- Conduct of market research for purposes of developing sales and marketing strategies.
- Assisting with and / or managing internal and intra-divisional projects.
What do we expect from you?
- Degree in electrical engineering with additional business administration knowledge.
- 5 years experience in the industry.
- 3 years order processing experience
- Business-fluent English- Spanish
- Sales-oriented, entrepreneurial outlook.
- Creativity and skill in negotiation situations
- Personal responsibility and management skills.
- Willingness to travel and flexibility.
- A confident manner with the customer
- Knowledge of relevant cultures.
