The Franchise Business Partner, International

A critical role responsible for supporting and developing successful business strategies for Popeyes in our Latin American Caribbean. This role provides the opportunity to shape new market entries, optimize franchisee performance, and support operational excellence across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages Franchisee Relationships
  • Acts as the first point of contact for brand initiatives that impact franchisees and restaurants.
  • Supports franchisees across multiple functions, including development, operations, marketing, and franchising.
  • Liaises between corporate and franchise partners to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Optimizes franchise business performance to drive long‑term growth and increase franchisee value.
  • Identifies and develops opportunities for franchisee expansion and new business development.
  • Manages Projects for New Market Entry
  • Leads planning and execution for new country or market entries.
  • Develops strategic proposals for growth and evaluates opportunities in complementary markets.
  • Oversees project timelines and coordinates cross‑functional actions required for market openings.
  • Collaborates with various departments including Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
  • Improves Restaurant Operations
  • Identifies root causes of operational challenges across franchise organizations.
  • Implements improvements through business reviews, action plans, and regular performance check‑ins.
  • Coaches franchisees to enhance guest satisfaction, service speed, and profitability.
  • Supports operational excellence through tools and tactics designed to increase sales and maintain high standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Preferred background in Business, Operations, Consultancy, or Finance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese required; Advanced in Spanish.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams and high‑level stakeholders is preferred.
