A global analytics firm in São Paulo seeks an Analyst to contribute to markets analysis in food and agriculture. Responsibilities include data collection, report writing on price developments, and collaboration with international teams. The Analyst position will be a part of the team in Brazil and South America and contribute to the team by collecting data, conducting investigative research, and producing written analysis on market developments impacting food supply chains. This position will have contributing efforts that roll to the team and regional lead for presentations and research. The team’s research output is developed for a target audience of food processors, supermarkets, and FMCG/CPG companies. The research output is also “big picture” in scope – assessing market developments across a wide swath of food and agricultural commodities.
You will develop a global understanding of food systems, food and agricultural trade, and food marketing; Interact with major international food and agriculture companies; Work with an award-winning price forecasting team and build analytical skills.
We are currently looking for an analyst to join S&P Global Commodity Insights’ dynamic Food and Agricultural Commodities team to help develop our coverage of livestock and protein markets. The team is globally focused, monitoring supply conditions and prices for food and agricultural commodities, as well as producing analysis on how factors such as macroeconomic conditions, policy developments, and changing consumer preferences shape the food sector. The F&AC team produces world class analysis, forecasts and data across comprehensive global commodity markets.
