We are looking for Analista de Infraestrutura who wants to learn and transform his career.

Responsibilities

• DC admin for on-premises / cloud. Virtualization / orchestration systems administrator using hypervisors (VMWare or Microsoft).
• Resolves incidents that impact the operation. Evaluates new products, version upgrades, tracks migration activities. Ensure all hardware is in the Microsoft, VMware, and Red Hat compatibility matrices.
• Ensure connectivity solutions for centralized storage arrays (servers with HBA) are compatible with Huawei Dorado v6, Hitachi VSP, Dell/EMC VMAX 40k and VMAX3 arrays.
• Provide maintenance and technical support for all software and equipment in the platform-as-a-service solution.
• Validate the compatibility matrix with all devices connected to Storage and Data Network when requested to update drivers or firmware.
• Monitor large-scale activities scheduled by the contractor (e.g., Disaster Recovery tests, preventive maintenance, planned changes).
• Update microcodes of hardware and implement engineering changes that improve reliability, availability, functionality, and component replacements as needed.
• Monitor capacity and efficiency of the delivered solution; suggest growth of baselines based on storage and backup utilization; maintain communication between storage and server; verify backups are performed and stored safely; follow company policies; provide remote-management solutions.
• Ensure SLAs at the Administrative Level.

Qualifications

• Experience in Datacenter On-Premises with medium/low platform - Unix/Intel, HCI Dell VXRail and Standard 3-layer topology (Application / Processing / Storage).
• Certified on MS Windows Datacenter and Windows Server OS.
• Experience on Linux RedHat / Suse, VMware for Servers Virtualization.
• Ability to clarify doubts and guide users regarding software, applications, information systems, equipment, standards and procedures in the customer environment.
• Identify and report to Level 2 Service Supervisor critical problems with significant impact and exceptional situations beyond control.
• Hardware requirement analysis for software installation.
• Execute health checks, operations tasks, user management, virtual machines, virtual networks; deploy, patch, and reallocate instances as needed; monitor infrastructure.
• Test new features and analyze compatibility among applications and Windows/Linux across versions; perform OS upgrade/downgrade/reinstall.
• Collaborate in asset-management activities in Customer locations lacking asset technicians or when service is unavailable; participate in DRP understanding commands and outcomes; apply patches and monitor health indicators.
• Manage, keep, operate and monitor high-availability DCs using VXRail Dell, EMC storage, and HP bare-metal servers; aware of DRP procedures; support VMware on virtualized platforms and bare-metal solutions on Windows or Linux.
• Knowledge of Core Network (switches spine-leaf / L3-7).
• Experience or certification equivalent for more than 1,500 VM´s / Physical Servers.
• Monitor Datacenter facilities (cooling, electrical, temperature/humidity).
• Prepare routine documentation for operation; maintain backup/restore/DR runbooks; keep runbooks for command-center execution.
• Experience with backup/snapshot management across disks, tape libraries, cloud, and related tools; familiarity with Unisphere, Veritas NETBackup, OpsCenter, Veeam, EMC/VNX/HP/Dell storage products.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Power BI, Tableau) and incident/runbook execution; knowledge of SCOM, Python, Java, .Net, Elastic Stack, Kibana, Selenium, SCO, PowerShell, SQL Reporting Services, Power BI, and Application Insights.
• Application focus on IT Infrastructure (Servers, Core Network, Storage, OS) with ability to work across On-Premises and Cloud environments.

Preferred

• Linux RedHat / SUSE distribution certifications.
• Desirable certifications: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate; Azure/AWS cloud certifications.
• Experience as Support Tool Analyst to collect logs for on-premises/cloud infra.
• Experience supporting 4,000+ hosts in a hybrid environment.
• Knowledge of ManageEngine for software distribution; RP4VMs experience.
