A mining company in Western Australia is seeking an Environment Advisor to ensure environmental compliance at its mining sites. The ideal candidate has a Tertiary Degree in a relevant discipline and at least 2 years of experience. Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160 km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector Southwest deposits.
As part of our continued commitment to environment, sustainability and community engagement, we are seeking an experienced Environment Advisor to join our team at our Deflector and Rothsay mine sites. Your primary responsibility will be to support the facilitation of site environment compliance and conduct monitoring and reporting programs. You will report directly to the Senior Environment Advisor. In this role, you will provide technical advice and assistance to operational personnel to help them meet the objectives outlined in the Environment Policy.
The position will be offered as an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton.
