  • Provide project leadership to deliver supply chain optimal business outcomes for operations and system transformation initiatives across DC Operations, Logistics, Transport, Business Readiness, Safety, Change Management and Store Delivery
  • 12 Months Parental Leave Contract
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in office (Norwest Support Hub) and flexibility to work from home

What you’ll do

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, overseeing Primary Connect system project mobilisation, detailed design, operational delivery, and volume ramp-up.
  • Act as the main advocate for business operations needs, ensuring our operations and systems transformation initiatives deliver optimal business outcomes with minimal impact on day-to-day supply chain operations.
  • Drive optimal business outcomes by defining and tightly controlling project scope, estimating and managing budget, and ensuring quality in delivery
  • Challenge decisions whilst driving robust decision-making and ensuring all stakeholders, from the frontline to senior leadership, are aligned.
  • Uphold the Woolworths' project management framework, providing clear and consistent reporting on progress, risks, and financials to ensure transparency and accountability across all departments.
  • Work collaboratively with internal customers, the broader Primary Connect team, and other Woolworths Group business units.
  • Ensure key stakeholders remain aligned to the purpose, objectives and outcomes of projects

What you’ll bring

  • 3+ years project management experience within the Supply Chain, Logistics, FMCG, Retail or similar industry
  • Experience in logistics, operations, systems and applications and business readiness of large scale warehousing or distribution facilities as well as those streams feeding into the project including DC Operations, IT Systems and Infras, DC Design, Safety, Change Management and Store Delivery
  • Confidence managing multiple, high-value projects with a high degree of scrutiny
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple project streams to achieve the agreed deliverables
  • The ability to build strong interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively at every level is essential for success
  • A collaborative approach to achieving outcomes. This will be a team effort. Interpersonal relationship skills are essential
  • Ability to navigate uncertainty, change and work under pressure across an extended project
  • Project Management credentials is highly desirable
