Greatland (ASX:GGP, AIM:GGP) is a new leading Australian gold and copper producer, operating the Telfer gold mine, one of Australia's largest gold-copper mining complexes. Greatland is concurrently developing the nearby world-class Havieron gold-copper project and exploring across a significant regional portfolio.

About Us

Greatland is a leading new Australian Gold-Copper producer, having recently acquired the iconic Telfer mine and the world-class Havieron gold-copper project in the Paterson region in Western Australia. Greatland is listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market and is planning to list on the ASX in 2025.

As we continue to grow our business and team, we are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Technical Support Officer to join our team on a fulltime basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our journey to becoming a leading ASX gold-copper producer and contribute to our future success.

About the Role

Reporting into our Infrastructure Manager we have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Officer to assist with delivering effective and efficient IT services to our team. This role will also focus upon efficient customer focused resolution for IT issues in a fast paced and rapidly growing environment.

Please note: This role is predominately located in our Subiaco office on a full-time basis with adhoc visits to site as required.

  • Assist in maintaining the IT environment, infrastructure, and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support to resolve technical issues.
  • Offer desktop and mobile device support to all Greatland employees.
  • Support the operation of the IT Helpdesk by answering calls and providing necessary assistance along with managing and maintaining the system.
  • Ensure that all IT support tickets are logged, resolved, or escalated within appropriate timeframes.
  • Assist in managing IT projects assigned by the Manager, Infrastructure.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of Greatland's infrastructure and business systems.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and project timelines.

About You

Our Ideal candidates will assist in resolving IT issues with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth technology experience for all Greatland staff. Other requirements include:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar technical support role.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong desktop support skills with attention to detail.
  • Well-developed literacy skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration and active directory.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange and Hyper-V.
  • A current ‘C' Class Manual Driver's License.
  • Experience in the mining industry would be a plus (Desirable)
