  • Discuss findings with referring physicians and recommend further interdisciplinary consultations.
  • Provide expert guidance during procedures requiring real-time imaging, such as biopsies.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain accredited standards in imaging techniques.
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and methods to enhance patient care.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Document and record analysis results accurately, maintaining detailed patient records.
  • Educate patients on the imaging procedures and clarify results and next steps in layman's terms.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions to sustain high expertise levels.
  • Develop professional relationships with staff, promoting an integrated health service delivery approach.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Radiology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice as a Specialist Radiologist.
  • Board Certified in Radiology with a proven record of high-quality practice.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical images accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to continuous education in radiology and staying abreast of technological advancements.
