Job summary
A company providing essential services in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Radio Operator. You will operate radio systems, manage communications, and report weather conditions to offshore locations. The role also requires handling calls after hours and following emergency procedures. Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong communication and reporting skills.
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of experience in operating Radio systems
- Ability to communicate effectively during emergencies.
- Strong reporting skills for weather and emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Attend Radio calls and pass messages for action.
- Report weather conditions to offshore sites.
- Answer calls after office hours for ongoing communication.
- Follow emergency notification procedures for incidents.
2 - 5 years of experience in operating Radio systems
- Radio Operator will be responsible attending Radio calls and appropriately passing messages received to enable desired action.
- Responsible for reporting weather conditions to the offshore sites in order to facilitate real time weather updates.
- Answer all telephone calls after office working hours in order to facilitate on-going communication and effective response to the callers.
- Follow the emergency notification procedure to report any emergency occurrences in order to facilitate real time reporting requirement and prompt damage control actions.
