CARMA is a global leader in media intelligence, providing cutting-edge media monitoring and analysis solutions to clients worldwide. We are looking for a Deputy HR Manager.
The Deputy HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Coordinate and conduct new employee onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring a smooth and engaging integration into the company.
- Assist in developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Support the Senior HR Manager in addressing employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee communication strategies.
Performance Management & Development:
- Support the administration of the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Assist in identifying employee training and development needs and coordinating relevant programs.
- Maintain employee training records and track the effectiveness of development initiatives.
- Support the implementation of career development and succession planning strategies.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations (especially relevant in Dubai, UAE, KSA).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee compensation data.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics as required.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and HR best practices in the UAE.
HR Projects & Initiatives:
- Participate in and contribute to various HR projects and initiatives, such as employee surveys, policy updates, and HR system implementations.
- Support the Senior HR Manager in the development and execution of HR strategic plans.
Team Support & Collaboration:
- Provide support and guidance to other members of the HR team.
Collaborate effectively with other departments within the organization to ensure alignment of HR practices with business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- 6-7 years of progressive HR experience
- Proven experience in managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations is essential for this role in Dubai.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
