The Customs Clearance Specialist is responsible for handling all customs‑related processes for local and international shipments in the UAE. This includes preparing and submitting accurate documentation, coordinating with UAE customs authorities (such as Dubai Customs, Abu Dhabi Customs, and free zone customs), and working with freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance of goods.
The role helps prevent delays by making sure all paperwork meets UAE customs and trade requirements. The specialist also stays up to date with local laws, GCC customs rules, and VAT regulations to keep the company compliant and avoid fines or issues.
