Job summary
A local company in Dubai is seeking an Accounting Assistant to aid in daily finance operations. The role includes managing accounting using QuickBooks, recording transactions, preparing invoices, and ensuring VAT compliance. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented with strong Excel skills and a fast typing ability. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of VAT compliance in the UAE.
- Ability to prepare and maintain accounting reports.
Responsibilities
- Handle accounting using QuickBooks.
- Record daily transactions and prepare invoices.
- Assist with UAE tax compliance and documentation.
Skills
We’re looking for an Accounting Assistant to support our daily finance operations.
- Handle accounting using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks/FTA-approved system.
- Record daily transactions (collection, sales, expenses).
- Prepare invoices, payments, and bookkeeping.
- Assist with UAE tax (VAT) compliance and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain accounting reports.
- Support month-end and reporting tasks.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Knows Excel.
- Fast typist.
