Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist for Alternatives to design, structure, and deliver differentiated investment solutions across structured products and broader alternative asset classes. Role will focus on structured products as a core competency, while also providing coverage across private placements, options, commodities, and other alternative instruments. Individual will partner with RMs, investment advisors and product teams to drive adoption of innovative investment strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with risk appetite, market outlook, and long-term wealth objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Product strategy & structuring
- Design, structure, and implement tailored structured product solutions across asset classes
- Provide product coverage and insights on private placements, options, and commodities
- Translate market opportunities into client-centric product offerings aligned with bank’s investment views.
Execution and delivery
- Oversee end-to-end execution of structured product transactions including pricing, documentation, and risk assessment
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless product launch and delivery
- Monitor product lifecycle, performance, and client suitability.
Advisory and client engagement
- Partner with RMs and Wealth Advisors to deliver client presentations and bespoke product pitches
- Act as subject-matter expert on structured products and alternatives in client forums and strategy reviews
- Support client acquisition and deepening through differentiated product innovation
Platform and governance
- Ensure compliance, risk alignment, and governance frameworks are embedded into all product solutions
- Liaise with legal, risk, and operations to streamline approvals, due diligence, and onboarding processes
- Contribute to development of digital platform for distribution and monitoring of structured products.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- 8–12 years in structured products and alternatives structuring, sales, or product management
- Strong track record of delivering bespoke structured solutions across equities, fixed income, FX, and commodities
- Experience in private placements and options strategies a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA preferred
- Exposure to GCC HNW/UHNW client base.
