A leading logistics company in Sharjah is looking for a Storekeeper/Warehouse Assistant. The role involves organizing inventory, receiving shipments, and maintaining accurate records. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for efficient storage and handling and manage the in and out flow of inventory in the warehouse.
  • Receiving the shipments from forwarders and reviewing the delivery records inspecting the damages shortages and excess and reporting it to logistics and follow up.
  • Inspect the shipments with the respective documents and prepare GRN.
  • Maintain the records of receiving dispatch and branch transfers of stock.
  • Physical inspection of the goods returning from customers and dealers and provide approval.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular stock checking to ensure accuracy.
  • To ensure the warehouse is maintained and updated in all respects in a presentable condition.
  • Follow up and lead the team for the put-away process.
Requirements
  • Bachelors/Masters in (Commerce / Business Administration /Supply Chain)
  • 2 yrs. of Experience as a Storekeeper/Warehouse Assistant
  • Experience in ERP and MS Office proficiency.
