Manage delivery of a specific project stream, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, health, safety, and sustainability standards.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support line manager by managing a project stream and ensuring completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards, meeting all contractual requirements.
- Handle day-to-day operations of the project and provide guidance to contractors and consultants involved.
- Coordinate activities with PMC, monitor performance, hold periodic meetings, and schedule on-site visits to verify project status in accordance with the Senior Project Manager.
- Review, expand, and refine the initial high-level plan and budget developed by Planning & Control, and review these against project schedule and budget developed by PMC.
- Provide input to the Controls function to track project progress and generate reports.
- Liaise with Project Procurement to ensure all necessary contracts are in place and contribute to project scoping efforts.
- Support the Senior Project Manager in identifying deviations, issues, and risks related to budget and schedule, assessing impacts, and defining action plans in coordination with Planning & Control.
- Coordinate with Development to address design issues, including change orders.
- Monitor contractor performance and coordinate accordingly.
- Follow up with Government Relations / PMC to obtain required permits and licenses.
- Review and comment on change orders, and recommend payments.
- Support the Senior Project Manager on constructability issues and liaise with relevant parties to address them.
- Perform final handover to asset operators.
- Ensure the project complies with HSSE policies and guidelines.
- Oversee proper project administration by the PMC.
- Review value engineering proposals, ensuring stakeholder requirements are met and proposals are approved before adoption.
- Suggest and implement modifications to project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
- Manage project close-out and obtain stakeholder approvals.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Related Years of Experience :
- Minimum of 12+ years in call center management, overseeing onshore and offshore operations.
- Strong background in digital strategy and customer experience enhancement, preferably with digital teams.
- Expertise in process optimization, automation, AI, and digital tools to improve customer engagement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Change management experience, leading teams through organizational changes.
- Analytical skills to derive insights from data for decision-making.
- Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and industry trend awareness.
Related Years of Experience in Project Management :
- Minimum of 10+ years, with at least 3 years in a senior oversight role.
Managerial Experience :
- Minimum of 2+ years in a related managerial position.
Field of Experience :
- Proven experience managing construction projects with CAPEX > 1 billion AED.
- Knowledge of and exposure to the GCC real estate market.
Technical and Interpersonal Skills :
- HSE champion with a proven track record.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Full understanding of the construction industry and related technical components.
- Ability to identify risks and implement risk management plans.
- Experience in QA / QC implementation and monitoring.
- Capable of managing project timelines, costs, and prioritizing tasks.
- Ability to develop and monitor project plans and deliverables.
- Strong contractor management and conflict resolution skills.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent.
- MBA, PMP, or other technical postgraduate degrees preferred.
