One of our clients, an emblematic Global and Independent Beauty Leader, is creating the role of Vice President of Global Marketing, based in Dubai, to accompany their stellar growth.
Overview
We are looking for a strategic, yet hands-on, visionary, and results-driven Vice President of Global Marketing to lead and elevate the brand on a global scale. This role is reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and oversees all facets of marketing, including brand marketing, product marketing, media, and visual merchandising (4 direct reports at Director level), ensuring a cohesive, innovative, and impactful brand presence.
The VP Global Marketing will be responsible for defining brand strategy, driving business growth, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and leading a high-performing team (approx. 20 people) to deliver best-in-class brand storytelling and execution - anchored in the Founder’s vision and accelerated by digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Brand Growth
Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy that strengthens brand equity, expands brand awareness, and accelerates business growth.
- Lead yearly marketing planning, ensuring alignment with business priorities, innovation roadmaps, and market needs.
- Identify and execute key brand collaborations and partnerships to elevate brand positioning and cultural relevance.
- Drive strategic growth initiatives in collaboration with the innovation team, ensuring marketing supports product expansion and category leadership.
- Integrated Marketing & Brand Storytelling
Serve as the steward of the brand, ensuring brand consistency and cohesion across all touchpoints, including advertising, social media, retail, and product.
- Oversee iconic launch activations and ensure campaigns deliver breakthrough storytelling that resonates with consumers globally.
- Partner with the social communications and design teams to develop compelling narratives that strengthen consumer engagement.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize media strategy, creative efficiency, and campaign effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Excellence
- Ensure seamless coordination between global and regional marketing teams, aligning strategies for successful local execution.
- Partner closely with product development, sales, creative, and digital teams to ensure an integrated go-to-market approach.
- Foster operational excellence, streamlining processes to improve speed-to-market and campaign efficiency.
- Lead the implementation of best practices across all markets to ensure consistency in brand execution.
- Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide leadership that inspires innovation while ensuring strategic discipline and operational excellence.
- Champion a consumer-first mindset, ensuring marketing strategies are deeply connected to evolving consumer behaviors and market trends.
Requirements
- Qualifications & Experience
15+ years of experience, including at least 7+ years in GLOBAL Marketing leadership roles within the beauty, luxury, or fashion industry.
- Ideally within a Founder's ecosystem (entrepreneurial mindset is a must).
- Proven expertise in brand marketing, product marketing, media strategy, and visual merchandising.
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate brand vision into tangible, results-driven marketing initiatives.
- Deep understanding of consumer engagement, brand storytelling, and digital marketing.
- Experience leading high-profile brand collaborations and partnerships.
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience managing global and regional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage complexity with agility.
