Vice President – Corporate Finance

A leading sustainable energy partner for businesses, serving commercial and industrial customers across the Middle East and Africa, is hiring a Vice President of Corporate Finance. Their solar and energy efficiency solutions help companies reduce energy costs, improve reliability, and lower carbon emissions. Backed by top-tier global investors, the company is expanding rapidly and seeks a senior corporate finance leader to drive this growth.

The Role

As VP of Corporate Finance, you will shape and execute the financial strategy during a period of rapid expansion. This includes leading all aspects of corporate finance, capital structuring, M&A, debt raising, and financial risk management. You’ll work closely with senior leadership while building relationships with global and regional banks, DFIs, and investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead debt financing and capital raising across loans, project finance, credit lines, and structured finance.
• Drive M&A activity from origination through execution and post-merger integration.
• Optimize capital structure to support long-term growth while reducing reliance on equity.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across banks, DFIs, and equity partners.
• Oversee financial risk management, cash flow forecasting, and treasury operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing corporate finance team.

What We’re Looking For

• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CFA, CPA a plus).
• 10–15 years’ experience in corporate finance with deep exposure to project finance, debt structuring, M&A, and capital markets.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in renewable energy is essential, ideally solar.
• Experience in the Middle East and / or South Africa is highly valued.
• Strong negotiation skills, strategic mindset, and ability to operate in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
