The Vice President – B2B Travel Sales (International Markets) will lead and scale global B2B sales operations for a leading international travel wholesaler and B2B reservation platform.
You will own international revenue growth, manage multi-region sales teams, and drive strategic expansion across key markets, including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas. This is a senior leadership role for a commercially sharp, hands-on sales leader who understands B2B travel ecosystems and knows how to build high-performing regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the international sales organisation, including regional sales heads and country teams.
- Take full P&L ownership for international sales and ensure delivery of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and execute strategic market expansion plans, focusing on high-potential regions, partners, and segments.
- Design, implement, and continuously refine sales processes, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key travel agencies, consolidators, OTAs, DMCs, TMCs, and strategic partners.
- Monitor global market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to maintain a strong competitive position.
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure commercial alignment and successful go-to-market execution.
- Represent the company at major international trade fairs, roadshows, and B2B industry events.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and motivate high-performing sales leaders, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Provide regular revenue forecasts, pipeline visibility, and market intelligence to senior management.
- Contribute to annual budgeting, commercial strategy, and strategic alliances to drive sustainable long-term growth.
Must-Haves
- 10+ years of experience in international B2B sales, preferably in travel, hospitality, or global distribution.
- Proven track record of leading multi-region sales teams and delivering large-scale revenue results.
- Strong understanding of B2B travel ecosystems (e.g. wholesalers, OTAs, DMCs, consolidators, aggregators).
- Demonstrated experience in both Business Development and Account Management at a strategic level.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multicultural environments with frequent international travel.
- Exposure to digital distribution, XML connectivity, and/or online B2B reservation platforms (strong advantage).
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset with experience in sales planning, forecasting, and P&L ownership.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work from the Dubai office and travel extensively across multiple regions.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Prior leadership experience in travel wholesalers, airlines, TMCs, OTAs, or global B2B travel platforms.
- Existing relationships with key global or regional travel partners (agencies, consolidators, OTAs, DMCs, TMCs).
- Experience launching or scaling new markets, products, or regions.
- Familiarity with API / XML integrations, channel partners, and digital distribution models.
Not a Fit
- Candidates whose core experience is exclusively with home-sharing platforms, accommodation aggregators without B2B travel ecosystem exposure, or cruise-only backgrounds.
- Profiles without substantial international B2B sales leadership and multi-region team management experience.
