This role is ideal for an experienced veterinary professional passionate about delivering highquality surgical care to animals with orthopedic issues. You will play a vital role in diagnosing treating and rehabilitating pets suffering from a variety of orthopedic conditions while operating in a collaborative and stateoftheart clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics to determine orthopedic conditions in animal patients.
• Conduct orthopedic surgeries including but not limited to fracture repairs joint reconstructions and arthroscopic procedures.
• Manage preoperative and postoperative care ensuring patient comfort and optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide integrated care for patients.
• Educate pet owners on treatment options recovery processes and preventative care for future orthopedic health.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in accordance with veterinary standards.
• Stay current with advancements in veterinary orthopedic practices and continuously seek ways to improve service delivery.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree with a specialization in Orthopedic Surgery highly desirable.
• Active veterinary license to practice in Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum of 25 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital with significant experience in orthopedic surgery.
• Demonstrable ability in performing various orthopedic surgical techniques and interventions.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and educate them regarding pet health.
• Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to veterinary care.
• Ability to work successfully in a team‑oriented environment while also being self‑motivated.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest veterinary practices.
