As a Veterinary Physiotherapist you will play a vital role in enhancing the health and recovery of pets through personalized treatment plans designed to meet their specific rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assessing animals physical conditions and mobility issues to determine appropriate physiotherapy treatments.
  • Developing customized rehabilitation programs utilizing various physiotherapy techniques for recovery after surgery injury or chronic conditions.
  • Applying therapeutic modalities including manual therapy exercise therapy and hydrotherapy as needed.
  • Monitoring animals progress and adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Working closely with veterinarians and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
  • Educating pet owners about treatment options home care strategies and injury prevention measures.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting treatment plans and progress effectively.
  • Staying updated with advancements in veterinary physiotherapy to bring innovative practices to the clinic.
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy or a related field.

Valid certification and license to practice as a Veterinary Physiotherapist.

Previous experience working in veterinary physiotherapy preferred with a demonstrated understanding of animal anatomy and rehabilitation techniques.
