A reputable accounting firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial records and ensure compliance with UAE regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 3+ years of relevant experience, and be proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. This role involves bookkeeping, reporting, and VAT compliance, offering a dynamic working environment in a growing firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions in QuickBooks.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with UAE laws.
• Track receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Assist with payroll entries and employee reimbursement records.
