Job summary

A prominent healthcare institution in Dubai seeks a Maintenance Technician responsible for preventive maintenance of CCTV systems and related security equipment. The role requires at least two years of experience within a healthcare maintenance department, familiarity with engineering standards, and strong skills in low voltage systems and Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective resource management and adherence to accreditation standards, ensuring optimal performance of security installations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a Healthcare organisation's maintenance department or similar institution.
  • Knowledge of codes of practice, applicable standards and engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards.

  • Performs routine operator-level preventive maintenance on CCTV digital video and fibre optics equipment.
  • Installs, maintains, repairs, and replaces security cameras and related equipment.
  • Completes all reports, correspondence, Work Control documents and other paperwork.

Implements maintenance work orders, organizes resources effectively, and completes all associated paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Performs routine operator-level preventive maintenance on CCTV digital video and fibre optics equipment.
  • Installs, maintains, repairs, and replaces security cameras, computer networks, and other equipment used in video surveillance systems.
  • Implements maintenance work orders for all work assignments and organizes his resources effectively.
  • Completes all reports, correspondence, Work Control documents and other assigned paperwork.
  • Organizes the work and successfully manages time to complete his assignments efficiently.
  • Identifies materials needs for the section and advises/updates Supervisor/Engineer of critical items.
  • Ensures effective use of resources at all times and identifies/follows up on the materials required for assignments.
  • Implement Sustainable Practices/Policies in Facilities Management operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Healthcare organisation's maintenance department or similar institution
  • Knowledge of codes of practice, applicable standards and engineering principles to effectively conduct his assignments;/
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards
  • Skills in Low Voltage systems
  • Skills in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate his trade training in a wide range of cross-trade activities
