Job Title: Tower Crane Electrician
Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tower Crane Electrician responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems of tower cranes. The role ensures safe and efficient crane operation in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, wire, and commission electrical systems for tower cranes
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on crane electrical components
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in control panels, motors, sensors, and wiring
  • Maintain crane limit switches, overload protection systems, and communication units
  • Troubleshoot PLC systems, VFD drives, and crane automation controls
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, site regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and technical reports
  • Coordinate with crane operators, rigging teams, and site supervisors
  • Assist with crane erection, dismantling, and commissioning as needed
  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Tower Crane Electrician or crane electrical technician
  • Strong knowledge of crane electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
  • Experience working at heights and on construction sites
  • Knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes
  • Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Electricity
  • Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressurePhysically fit and safety-oriented
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with crane brands such as Potain, Liebherr, Comansa, Zoomlion, Terex
  • GCC or international construction site experience
  • Valid electrical license or crane safety certification
Work Environment
  • Construction sites and high-rise projects
  • Work at heights and in varying weather conditions
  • On-call for urgent breakdowns if required
