Job summary

A leading banking institution in the UAE is seeking a Teller to deliver quality service while efficiently processing transactions. Responsibilities include handling cash deposits, withdrawals, and cross-selling banking products. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of retail banking products and UAE banking regulations. This position is exclusively for UAE Nationals.

• Processing all teller counter service transactions.
• Cross sell or identify and refer product inquiries.
• General reconciliation & control activities.
• Act as one of the dual custodians for branch vault cash.
• Assist HOP as the second custodian for dual control.
• End of day balancing.

Overview

Description
Role: Teller
Location: AbuDhabi
Role Purpose: Delivering quality teller service to customers via accurate and efficient processing while projecting ADIBs professional image in all interpersonal dealings.

Key Accountabilities of the role

• Processing of all teller counter service transactions such as cash deposits & cash withdrawals and other transactions such as drafts telegraphic-transfers payment orders standing orders foreign currency purchase & sales cheque deposits etc. in line with operational policies & procedures where centralized telegraphic transfers are involved liaise with Treasury department to obtain best rates for VIP & or high net worth customers in coordination with HOPs. These responsibilities may also include serving Private Banking customers at separate counters and also processing any other counter service transaction introduced by ADIB from time to time.
• Cross sell or identify and refer product inquiries from prospective customers to Sales staff.
• General reconciliation & control activities.
• Act as the one of dual custodian for branch vault cash and security stationery.
• Assist HOP as the second custodian for dual control.
• Cash reconciliation & balancing.
• End of day balancing
• General filing
• Ensure proper understanding and processing for all centralized activities as per Branch Operations Centralization Projects.
