We are looking for a Telecom Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Telecom Engineering & Technical Support

• Provide comprehensive technical support for telecommunication systems including radio systems (VHF, UHF, HF), satellite communications, PABX, IP telephony, fiber optics, structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and network infrastructure.
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and root cause analysis using appropriate test equipment such as OTDR, spectrum analyzers, and cable testers.
• Configure, integrate, and optimize telecom systems to ensure performance, reliability, and operational requirements are met.
• Investigate radio frequency interference issues and propose effective technical solutions in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and on-the-job support to junior engineers and technical staff.

Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance

• Participate in installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications of new and existing telecommunication systems.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation; provide technical input during design and execution phases.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with OEM recommendations and best engineering practices.
• Prepare and maintain accurate as-built drawings, configuration records, and maintenance documentation.

Project, Safety & Compliance

• Support telecom-related projects through coordination with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of assigned activities.
• Comply with applicable safety, HSE, and operational procedures, including full adherence to Permit to Work (PTW) requirements (e.g., Hot Work, Cold Work, Working at Heights).
• Act as Performer, Performing Authority, or Area Authority as required, maintaining valid safety certifications and authorizations.

Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering (or related field) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant telecom engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in telecom system repair, servicing, testing, and calibration within complex operational environments.
