As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will own and drive fiber-optic submarine cable construction projects for the Global Submarine Networks team. You will lead work between submarine cable vendors, partners, and internal teams through close collaboration and teamwork with other TPMs, Strategic Negotiators, Network Deployment Engineers, Product Managers and Network Architects. You will use your understanding of the Google Network and your expertise in vendor management, marine survey, marine installation, manufacturing, permitting, optical transport, outside plant, and telecommunications industry best-practices to lead cross-functional teams in driving the genesis and completion of submarine cable projects.
