Apt Resources is seeking a passionate and skilled Assistant Engineer for our client in Antigua a prestigious luxury boutique this role you will assist in ensuring that all hotel engineering operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and the engineering team to maintain the hotels mechanical electrical plumbing and other critical systems. Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of hotel facilities ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support the Chief Engineer in managing day-to-day operations of the engineering department.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and systems identifying potential issues and addressing them proactively.
• Help coordinate and execute maintenance schedules and repairs.
• Assist in the management of energy management systems and sustainability initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the timely resolution of engineering-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and parts used.
