Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced T24 API Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing APIs for T24, a core banking system. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem‑solving skills and experience working with APIs and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement APIs for T24 ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including business analysts, developers and testers to ensure API requirements are met.
• Conduct API testing, troubleshooting and debugging to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Develop and maintain API documentation including technical specifications and user guides.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in API development.
• Participate in code reviews ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the technical lead to develop and implement API strategies and roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in API development, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong technical skills in API design, development and implementation including RESTful APIs, JSON and XML.
• Experience with T24 or similar core banking systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI or similar.
• Knowledge of API security best practices, including authentication, authorization and encryption.
